House of Mews Rescue (HOM) Volunteer Program is a great way to support cats and kittens in need. By volunteering your time and talents our volunteers have given that animal a second chance at life.

We have many wonderful volunteers who generously give their time and efforts to help HOM achieve our goals and advance our mission to rescue, foster, mend, and find forever homes for our cats and kittens.

How can you help? Here are some volunteer opportunities available at House of Mews Rescue:

• Fostering: Provide a temporary home for rescued cats/kittens until an approved Forever Home is secured.

• Application Screening: Process Adoption Applications and conduct phone interviews with potential adopters.

• Adoption Events: Promote HOM and showcase our cats/kittens at our monthly adoption events at PetSmart & Pet Supplies Plus stores while introducing our organization and services we provide to the community.

• Fundraising: Assist in creating and implementing fundraising events to support our rescue.

• Transportation: Drive our cats/kittens to their spay/neuter medical appointments.

• Artist, Graphic Designers, and Crafters: Love to create fliers, paint, sculpt, sew, crochet, make blankets or quilts, or built stuff? we are always looking for artists to volunteer their time and talents to support our cause while we promote your service and talent on our website and Facebook page.
